Inner Agility

Often when we think of agile what comes to mind is kanban boards, sprints, retrospectives, lots of post-it notes and all of the other processes, practices, deliverables and business outcomes popularly associated with agile. These all sit in the arena of outer agility.

More often than not, the most neglected part of agility is in the arena of relationship intelligence, sense-making, communication and collaboration; the world of inner agility.

We take an inside-out approach to developing inner agility; developing the inner capabilities in people, relationship systems and organisations that foster the culture and mindset of agility from which outer agility naturally and natively flourishes.

Outer Agility

Whether it’s operational agility with frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe; customer development agility with approaches such as Lean Startup or Design Thinking; or broader business agility utilising practices such as Sociocracy, Beyond Budgeting or Open Space; the arena of outer agility focuses on the processes, practices, deliverables and business outcomes associated with agility.

Our team has a deep practical knowledge of these frameworks and practices. We utilise our courses to instill in and pass on this knowledge to our graduates.

Real World Experience

At the Centre for Leadership Agility we speak and teach from a place of experiential knowledge in both outer and inner agility.

Along with teaching agility we are also active agile practitioners and offer our real-world experience and examples to augment your learning.

We are proudly an International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) Member Organisation. We take our craft seriously and hold high standards for our courses.

All of our public and private courses are ICAgile certified, having gone through ICAgile’s rigorous certification and vetting process.
